Yesterday in Amsterdam our CEO Frank Mester gave a speech during the Award ceremony of the SoftBot Awards. The first prize went to the Central and West Brabant Environment Agency (OMWB) for their robot, designed to improve data quality. At the time of the nomination (september 2023), this robot had already saved more than six months of full-time work. This has not only led to a significant improvement in data quality, but also to better findability of files, more complete reports and a reduction in the workload for employees.
OMWB employees now have accurate data in their system and in reports. This benefits both internally and for their participants, including 25 municipalities and the province of North Brabant. Data quality has made an impressive jump from 65% to more than 95%.
In addition, the robot’s adjustments have proven invaluable for monitoring energy data. During each inspection, which takes place approximately 40,000 times a year, the energy data is checked and the correct type of energy consumer is registered in accordance with the Energy Act.
The second and third prizes went to IVO Rechtspraak and the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn.
